Established in 2007, Bono’s Excavations are a local, family-owned business located on the Atherton Tablelands. Utilising knowledge and experience gained from being third generation in the civil construction industry, combined with the latest equipment we deliver earth and civil works services. We comply with industry standards and safe work practices.
We work closely with every client from individuals looking to clear land or construct a house pad to corporations and Government agencies completing major road works or specialised projects. We tailor the work method to your individual circumstances for the best possible outcome. Our personalised approach ensures the owner of the company meets every client and customise their specific needs to the job requirements.
Directors
Dennis and Cirsty are both born and bred Tableland Locals and are both third generation civil industry workers.
Dennis comes from a farming background and has extensive knowledge in the western areas of the tablelands being Mutchilba and Dimbulah. Knowing how the soils and ground drainage is imperative for all earthworks in this area. Dennis is not only the owner but also the driving force behind Bono’s being the site Foreman and final trim operator on all equipment.
Cirsty is from the southern part of the tablelands being Ravenshoe growing up in the Quarrying and Civil construction industry. She has extensive knowledge in the concrete industry working alongside her father running a concrete plant including Quality Assurance Auditing and testing.

All our operators are ticketed and experienced on a variety of equipment to ensure not only an excellent level of finish on the machine they are operating, but also a smooth flow on effect for other drivers on multi equipment sites, a team working environment.
This has lead to many of our members being qualified as final trim operators, having experience in all facets of the earthmoving and construction industry, who pride themselves on providing an exceptional level of service and quality of works.
